Office

  Inside Sales Representative

Essential Job Functions:

  • Acts as an account manager, maintaining relationships with independent retailers throughout the United States.
  • Provides store level support to corporate accounts and implements account executives’ initiatives for corporate customers.
  • Handles incoming requests for product orders and information.
  • Assists wholesale customers placing orders in burton + BURTON showrooms at major gift markets in Atlanta and Dallas.
  • Guides wholesale customers through the burton + BURTON virtual showroom and assists customers placing showroom orders live, online.
  • Follows up on customer requests from trade shows and the company website to book showroom appointments and answer questions about products and services.
  • Assists with campaigns to obtain orders for upcoming seasons, and to encourage attendance at company educational events.

Required Competencies:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English; proficient with desktop/laptop/tablet computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Proficiency with social media.

Education and Experience:

Preferred Education:      Bachelor’s degree; minimum Associate’s degree

Preferred Experience:    A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Sales role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Accounts Receivable Associate

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assists customers calling with billing questions.
  • Processes incoming mail.
  • Applies payments to customer accounts.
  • Prepares bank deposits.

Required Competencies:

Education and Experience:

Preferred Education:               Associate degree, specifically in Accounting, or any other related field

Preferred Experience:             Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Accounting role or equivalent combination of education and experience

Warehouse

  Additional Warehouse Positions

Jobs Available:

  • Receiving Operator – Responsible for moving merchandise through the supply chain by utilizing forklifts, man-up order pickers, conveyors, and mobile computers.  Operators will unload inbound product, stock merchandise, and pick product to distribute to fulfillment areas.  Experience with these tools and operations preferred by not a requirement.
  • Picker/Packer – using voice picking technology, fulfills customer orders. Must be detail-oriented, possess a high level of energy and sense of urgency, and ability to maintain a focused walking pace throughout the shift. 
  • Inflation/Candy Assembly – assembles various components of giftable all-occasion candy containers using various containers, small balloons, candy, and ribbon curls/foil. Requires fine hand/finger manipulation skills and ability to stand in one place throughout the shift. 
  • Stocker – responsible for keeping customer product bins full. Orders product from bulk area when needed to replenish bins. 

Education and Experience:

Preferred Education:    High school diploma degree or GED.

Preferred Experience:   Solid work history is a must.  Distribution Center experience a plus.
