Ribbon is a wonderful enhancement to floral arrangements. It can provide color, depth and bulk to an arrangement at a relatively low cost. The three most common sizes of decorative ribbon are #3, #9 and #40. #3 is 9/16" wide, #9 is 1 5/16" wide and #40 is 2 ½" wide. Of course there are other sizes available, but these three cover most needs. Ribbon comes in a wide variety of fabrics and colors. Take advantage of the many different types to give varying looks and feels to your work.
