Floral wire can be a very useful tool in floral arrangements. It is used to lengthen and support stems as well as to attach flowers to various forms. It can be used in conjunction with wooden picks, spare stems or simply by itself. Know that the larger the gauge, the smaller the wire and more flexible it is. Basic wire is 21 gauge while 28 gauge is best for corsages and wedding work.
