Frequently Asked Questions that may help you order online.
- Do you sell to individuals?
- burton + BURTON is a true wholesaler and we only sell to businesses reselling our products. Consequently, we will need your State Sales and Use Tax Number. If you are not a business we are not able to sell to you.
- How do I know if you received my online order?
- First of all, after you submit the order, you will see a page that thanks you for the order and gives you the Web Order Number. Secondly, you will receive an email right away at the email address you have listed with us confirming the order. If you ever have any doubts, feel free to contact us at 800-241-2094 during business hours or email us at ecom@burtonandburton.com. We will be happy to assist you.
- Can I add to my order after I have sent it to you?
- Due to our fast turnaround, typically we are not able to add to orders that have been submitted. Even orders sent at night go through an automated process to have them ready to pack when we get here in the morning. Please be sure to include everything you need in your order before submitting it.
- How can I get a copy of past orders?
- We have roughly your past year's worth of orders on our website. Simply click on My Orders toward the top right-hand side of the homepage, and then click on View Previous Orders. You can view them or print them for your records.
- What happens if I backorder products on your website?
- When the product comes in, we will call you at the phone number you have on file with us. We prefer to speak with you before shipping in case you have something else to add to the order. We will not automatically ship your order without your approval. Of course you can give us approval in advance to expedite the process if you would like.
- If a product shows in-stock on your website, will I definitely receive it?
- We are proud to ship at a 98% fill rate. The odds are, if it shows in-stock online, you will receive it. However, on occasion you may order more than we have available. If this happens we will follow your instructions. At the end of the order you can tell us to Cancel If Out, Substitute If Out or Backorder If Out. If you need something other than one of those, you will want to contact us to let us know.
- How do I save my order to finish later?
- From the shopping cart, you will have the option to Hold the order. Orders placed on hold will remain held for 10 days. After a week, you will receive an email reminding you of the order. If nothing is done after 10 days, it will be cleared out. You can of course go in, reopen the order, and put it back on hold at any time. This starts the 10 days over again. To retrieve a held order, click on My Orders, and then click on View Orders On Hold.
